UPDATE:

Thanks to community efforts, the developer has withdrawn their application for rezoning to build the extended stay hotel!

All meetings have been canceled but the company has stated they “will consider submitting a new application in the immediate future, and alter our proposed use to one that the community will be comfortable with.”. We will keep you updated on this issue as we receive new information.
